Arnica is simple to use in our convenient tube! Whether you’re in recovery from surgery, an intense workout or if you’re in search of effective, short-term pain management, Arnica is a viable solution.
Arnica Montana has long been heralded for its ability to produce relief from pain, inflammation and bruising. The highly fragrant yellow flowering plant first began to be used medicinally in the 16th century.
Arnica‘s medicinal properties are found within the flower, and these are processed for over-the-counter use for their anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Hamamelis virginiana is another yellowish flower, also known as witch-hazel. This plant leaves, branches, and bark was used by past generations to treat topical skin affections like burns, sores, insect bites, ulcers and hemorrhoids… applications that are still currently in force. Therefore, Hamamelis has been recognized by its astringent, anti-inflamatory and hemostatic properties.
Literary giant Goethe had “made a graceful allusion to the plant, and extolled its powerful efficacy to the skies” when he used arnica to treat his “severe pulmonary affection.”
Homeopathic practices, which seek to treat ailments using small – though effective – doses, serves as a good delivery method for the array of uses provided by Arnica Montana.
